The numbers are in, and close to 5k was raised at the April 15th event at Rabbithole studio in Brooklyn, NY!
The proceeds will be donated to the CUNY LAGCC Veterinary Technology Program, the only fully accredited vet tech program in NYC, and three of our favorite NYC organizations: Animal Care and Control of NYC, Dog Habitat Rescue, and Linda’s Feral Cat Assistance.
Thanks to Sarah Roberts for catching these awesome moments:
I will be posting images of animal necklaces I have crafted for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to NYC animal causes that we support! Check back soon…
The April 15th event, our first, was a great success! Thank you all so much for coming out and participating in the general merriment of the evening, and to everyone who donated their time, money and energy for the benefit of our our furry friends. Karaoke was the favored activity of the evening, and hopefully left everyone with some fun memoriess! It was such an honor to have Mike Pastore from AC&C, Jay Lombard from Dog Habitat Rescue and Linda Bryant from Linda’s Feral Cat Assistance all under one roof – each of them personally make a huge difference for animals in our city every day, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. One last shout out to Shawn Lyons of Rabbithole Studio and Rabbit Movers for his generous donation of the space for us to hold the party in – without him, none of this could have happened. Hopefully everyone had a great time, and we hope to see you again at future events!

We are getting SO excited for April 15th when we will host the first Paws 4 the Cause NYC fundraiser at Rabbithole Studio! We are anticipating a great turnout, and I personally am overwhelmed with the outpouring of of general kindness, support and encouragement we’ve been receiving. It seems like humans all over really pull together to help out our beloved furry ones. In honor of the event, I have been crafting away to make some hopefully coveted creature creations. See you in a few days! -Erica
